JHKA is an architecture office engaged in design and research projects in cities across the U.S.A. and Korea. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and goals for a project as the basis of design to produce buildings, interior spaces, master plans, and objects that provide innovative solutions for our clients. We develop design options that inventively embrace many constraints embedded in each project, actively surfacing design opportunities. We explore geometry, pattern, material, texture and spatial complexity to create unique places that enhance experience. The emanating architecture adapts to an ever-changing built environment; captures the values and aspirations of our clients; and creates distinctive impressions and balances in contexts.
Jung Hoon Ko, AIA, KIRA,LEED AP
Jung Hoon Ko is the founding principal of JHKA, a design studio with collaborative passion and imagination. He has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of design and construction, and in-depth knowledge of several project types including private residence, multi-family housing, boutique hotel, mixed-use, and religious buildings. Prior to establishing his studio, Jung Hoon Ko was a project architect at GLUCK+ and previously worked at Curtis+Ginsberg Architects and Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn.
