The site is located at the eastern edge of the newly developed special district for International Finance and Trade surrounded by the majority of high rise apartment buildings and urban park, which not only made it perfect for the church location but also gave an opportunity to explore the design. Client’s love affair to a glass and stone and request for a symbolic shape refined the concept and drove to a proposed building. Overall shape of the church symbolizes the Noah’s ark with a soaring spire at the corner of the square plan and playful opening with curtain wall and becomes a landmark for the area.
