A seven-story, 45,000 square foot low-income rental building in Williamsburg, with 47 units, providing Inclusionary Housing for an adjacent market rate building. The scale of the building is broken down by setbacks along the street wall, varied facade material and periodic window frames extending past the facade. A community room, laundry room and bike storage facility are provided. To minimize potential flooding issues, the building does not contain a cellar and the first floor has been raised above sidewalk level, with utility rooms at the first floor rather than the cellar.
